Marianne
Children 12 and older in Colombia
•
40s
Meet Marianne, a vibrant and spunky 13-year-old full of charm. Diagnosed with Down syndrome, Marianne is incredibly easy to engage with, displaying a remarkable ability to connect with others. Her curiosity and attention to detail were evident when she asked someone about their Italian heritage, showcasing her intelligence and social awareness.
Confident, kind, and delightfully funny, Marianne has a touch of sass that adds to her endearing personality. It's disheartening to think that she may not have many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors due to her orphanage's location in a challenging part of Colombia.
Despite the circumstances, Marianne's resilience shines through. She fascinated us with her love for technology, borrowing a phone to capture videos, and mastering the art of selfies.
It's baffling to think that Marianne has been overlooked in the adoption process; she is a true blessing waiting to enrich the lives of her future parents.
To support Marianne's adoption journey, she is eligible for a $15,000 older child adoption grant from Reece's Rainbow. Hopefully, her forever family will discover her soon, ensuring that this incredible young girl can experience the love and warmth of a family of her own.
Marianne is eligible for a HEROES Adoption Grant! Click here to learn more about this amazing way to offset the cost of adoption, and gain more financial clarity during your adoption journey.
